The XRAY T2 continued its winning streak at the recent 2006 US ROAR National Championship. The XRAY USA team â” sponsored by RCAmerica â” was at the race not only to provide professional support and help to all XRAY T2 owners and racers, but also to showcase the racing performance of the T2 and the racing skills of the XRAY factory team drivers. The T2 has had a very long list of wins at previous races during this season, so there were high expectations of the whole team. The team came perfectly prepared and was ready to continue the winning series of the T2, but also to take back-to-back titles from the 2005 US National Titles achieved in the Stock and Masters categories.

In the modified category it was Paul Lemieux and Ralph Burch who qualified into the A main and finished 6th and 7th (respectively) within the highly-competitive field. The T2 was on the rails and showcased in the Stock and Masters categories. In Masters category it was reigning 2005 US Paved Champion Tom Esposito (aka Espo) who dominated the field the whole event by taking the TQ in the qualifications and winning the final runs⦠ultimately making him the 2006 US ROAR National Champion.

Team XRAY was facing very strong competition in the Stock class, too, and the T2 again proved that it is winning not only in the hands of the worldâ™s best drivers in modified and open categories, but that it is also able to compete and dominate in the Stock class. From Team XRAY it was Travis Schreven, Andrew Ellis, and Peter Robinson who put their T2 cars into the A main final. Travis, who has recently won the Reedy Race 2006 USA, was again on the rails in the A final, winning the first and third finals, and thus gaining the title of 2006 US National Stock Class Champion.
